Kate Gosselin in Twitter race row after photo emerges of her 'mocking Asians'

Kate Gosselin can be seen appearing to mock Asians in a photo which has hit the inteet.

The reality star has found herself at the centre of controversy as a result of the offensive picture.

The photo was published on Twitter by a user called Katie Deen on Sunday and is the account’s only post so far.

In the image, Kate is wearing what looks like a geisha style molded headpiece.

She can be seen using her fingers to pull the skin around her eyes towards the side of her face, all while wearing a big smile on her face.

The picture appears to have been taken in a kitchen and in it Kate wears a red halteeck dress.

Little is known about where the photo originated but as Kate wears bands on her ring finger in it, it may have been taken before her 2009 divorce.

The Twitter user who posted the image also wrote the caption: ‘@Kateplusmy8 Makes fun of Asians with 8 half Korean children.’

Kate, 38, rose to fame after giving birth to sextuplets and in fact has eight children with her ex-husband.

She was married to Jon Gosselin, a second-generation Korean-American, for 10 years, and is yet to comment on the photo.

Meanwhile Kate has revealed she is moving forward with a lawsuit against her ex-husband and author Robert Hoffman.

The pair recently released a tell-all e-book about Kate, titled Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World, which was pulled from Amazon two days following its release amid claims of inappropriately obtained confidential documents.

A representative did not immediately reply when contacted by Mail Online for comment.
