Selena Gomez was definitely at the back of Justin Bieber’s mind when he allegedly rocked up to his New York City hotel with a girl on either arm in the early hours of Wednesday moing.

Biebs, 19, spent the night partying in the Big Apple before heading home for an after-party - but not before a quick stop off at his favorite tattoo parlour Bang Bang Tattoo.

Adding to his multiplying collection, the Beauty And A Beat chart-topper got his mother Pattie Mallette’s eye inked on his inner arm, and didn’t handle the needle too well.

Tattoo artist Keith McCurdy, who opened the store especially for the singer, told the New York Post: ‘Justin said the tattoo was about his mother always watching over him, kind of like a protection.

‘He said it hurt because it’s a difficult place to tattoo, so he asked me to hurry up.’

But Biebs’ latest inking has failed to quench his thirst for more.

‘He wants more tattoos. He likes realistic stuff,’ McCurdy added.
