Jessica Simpson looks ready to pop

JESSICA Simpson rests her hand on her huge baby bump during an outing in Califoia.

The second-time mum-to-be looked ready to pop as her expanding tum took centre stage en route to a family gathering.

Jessica - who is expecting a baby boy any day now - wore a long black dress that was sheer around her stomach and flat sandals.

The 32-year-old's fiance Eric Johnson, 12-month-old daughter Maxwell, sister Ashlee and four-year-old nephew, Bronx accompanied her to the event in Ojai.

Jessica recently admitted she's kept weight gain to a minimum during her second pregnancy.

She said: "Now I’m working out three times a week, I’ve only gained half of what I did in my first pregnancy. With my first pregnancy I really let go. I felt like I deserved to eat whatever I wanted."

She added: "This time around I’ve been less about the fashion and more about the comfort. With Maxwell I tried to wear heels the whole time but it hurt my knees. Now I’m wearing more flats."

In preparation for her new arrival Jessica and Eric recently purchased Ozzy and Sharon Osboue's former Hidden Hills mansion.
