Jennifer Lopez slashes Casper Smart’s allowance

So, a week or so ago, Jennifer Lopez was confirmed as retuing to American Idol. It wasn’t exactly breaking news since the rumours had been swirling for a while. But instead of a big hoopla of an announcement, her reality-judging retu was revealed by her big-mouth boyfriend, Casper Smart, like it wasn’t a big deal. Big mistake.

According to The Enquirer, Lopez “went ballistic” when the backup blabbed her news during an interview because the network was hoping to make their own big reveal.

“Jennifer caught hell from Idol producers,” a source revealed. “They wanted to hold a major press conference, not have a boyfriend leak it out.”

Of course, Smart pleaded ignorance but Lopez was still pissed. “This was Jennifer’s biggest fear,” the source said. “Casper is young and doesn’t understand the business, which makes life very difficult for her. It’s beginning to dawn on her that he’s a liability.”

The insider added: “Casper’s slip was very amateurish. Jennifer couldn’t believe he’d be so stupid. The Idol team had a big launch planned and he ruined it.” What’s worse is that the reason Lopez stalled on signing the contract wasn’t because of money; rather, she was waiting until the studio agreed to give Casper a job on the show. As his punishment, she’s taking it out of his allowance.

“Jennifer cut a quarter of the $10,000 monthly allowance she gives him,” revealed the insider, but he’ll probably get it back soon because the source added: “She says Casper is the best sex she’s ever had.”

Somewhere, Ben Affleck, Diddy and Marc Anthony are all muttering, “B****, please.” Seriously, though, it doesn’t matter if Casper gives her “the best sex” (ugh, I just threw up a little), she still shouldn’t let him mess with her career. Casper’s time is almost up, right?
