A NATURE blogger was stunned when he appeared to capture a UFO on camera.

Harry Perton photographed the unusual object in Groningen, the Netherlands, after he ventured out in a storm to take pictures for his blog last week.

But he was stunned when he checked his camera and spotted the jellyfish UFO — so called for its appearance — floating in the night sky emitting an eerie flash of green light.

Harry said: "I saw from my window hauntingly beautiful skies and I waited for the rain to subside before I went out.

"I was taking photos and suddenly something flashed. At first I thought it must have been my camera but the flash was not up and there was not a drop on my lens.

"I decided it must have been a strike of lightning — but back at home I saw something strange in one of the photos that I took — what looked like a UFO.

"Personally though I am not a UFO-believer — I think it was probably something meteorological.

"Maybe a ray of the sun peeked through the storm cloud and created this effect."
