Jackson County man Marty Reeves arrested for shooting deaths of woman, teen son
A woman and her 13-year-old son were found dead in a Jackson County home Wednesday moing, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The victims were shot at a home on Gordon Street in Jefferson, GBI Special Agent Mike Ayers said. They were identified as 42-year-old Andrea Reeves and her 13-year-old son, Austin.
Reeves' husband, Marty, has been charged in the deaths. He faces two counts of malice murder.
Jefferson police and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 10:15 a.m. Investigators are processing the crime scene.
