Husband on the run after stabbing wife and mother-in-law in Lawrenceville
Police are looking for a husband who allegedly stabbed his wife and mother-in-law in Lawrenceville.
According to authorities, the stabbing occurred on Chris Lake Drive.
Police said the man's wife was killed in the incident, while the mother-in-law was transported to a local hospital.
A witness at the scene said he saw the man driving away as he retued to the neighborhood, but didn't immediately realize what was taking place.
The witness said he saw that a woman was lying on the ground and had been stabbed in the neck.
According to the witness, he and others in the neighborhood tried to help the woman, even giving her CPR, but she did not survive.
