How much will Whitney Houston's daughter inherit?

WHITNEY Houston's 20-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is set to be very rich very soon, as she stands to inherit $2.3 million from her mother's estate the day she tus 21 on March 4.

The money is the first installment of the $22 million estate left to her by her mother, which will be handed over completely by the time she is 30.

According to The Sun, it seems her grandmother Cissy Houston and cousin Dionne Warwick are none too pleased, fearing the money will be "blown to pieces in seconds" by Bobbi Kristina and her new husband Nick Gordon, and they want lawyers to set up a fund executor to stop this happening.

Since her mother’s death in 2011, Bobbi Kristina has lurched from one crisis to the next; there has been a public breakdown, allegations of drug taking, an eviction and now marriage to her once adopted brother.

The Houstons, not the most stable of families, have been further to apart by in-fighting. There are feuds over money, arguments over Cissy’s tell-all book, claims of "incest", and fears that Bobbi Kristina is heading down the same car-crash route that her mother did.

As one family friend put it: "It’s a terrible thing but maybe it is only to be expected. Whitney’s lasting legacy has just been more drama, more trouble.

"It was trouble when she lived and is still trouble two years on."

Meanwhile Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby Brown - who was blamed by the Houstons for tuing Whitney into a drug addict - has told them to back off and let their daughter get what she deserves.

He has also instructed lawyers to look into his late ex-wife’s financial affairs to ensure that every asset is ring-fenced for their daughter.

Meanwhile Bobbi Kristina, who is still fuming about her grandmother’s tell-all book, Remembering Whitney, refusing to speak to Cissy. She’s also angry about her grandmother’s reaction to her recent marriage (Cissy Houston allegedly called the union "incestuous").

The newly-weds are not blood relations. Nick was taken in by Whitney when he was nine and Bobbi Kristina was six but he was never legally adopted by the Grammy-winning singer.
