Holland Tunnel wishes commuters a dyslexic merry Christmas
Apparently, the municipal workers in Jersey City can't spell "Holland" if you spot them H-o-l-l-a-n and the d. OK, so humanity long ago waved the white flag on signs being spelled correctly. But this is, like, tracing. Or preschool geometry.
The big wreath goes over the "O" in the sign above the Holland Tunnel entrance, and the Christmas tree goes over the "A." Did someone decide putting the decorations closer together ruined the tunnel's feng shui? Good to know the recent toll increase wasn't wasted on design classes for the crew. [Source]
