The young driver accused of causing a crash that left a 2-year old dead will remain behind bars at the Fulton County Jail.

Kelly Canty's bond hearing was reset by a judge Thursday. The hearing will now be heard in two weeks.

Investigators say the 19-year-old Canty faces several charges, including first-degree vehicular homicide, and reckless driving.

According to police, Canty was the driver of the white car that was involved in a fatal crash on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in June. Atlanta Police say the driver of the white vehicle lost control and swerved into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer.

Police say the truck driver tried to avoid the car and swerved into a parking lot, crashing into a car with the toddler and a teen inside.

Both children were taken to the hospital, and 2-year-old Zion Cuey later died.
