Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy Anthony Pesaresi charged with DUI

Gwinnett County sheriff’s department says one of its deputies was arrested for DUI Thursday night.

Anthony Pesaresi was a senior deputy in the jail division. He was off duty at the time of the arrest.

Gwinnett County police made the arrest at Hog Mountain Church Road and Highway 124. Authorities said his children were inside the car at the time of the arrest.

Authorities said he has been with the department since January 2011.

An inteal investigation with sheriff’s office will be started, as per policy.
