Gunfire erupts at Club Crucial in Atlanta

ATLANTA - Police rushed to Club Crucial early Tuesday moing after reports of shots fired outside the nightclub located on Hollowell Parkway.

Officers say a fight broke out inside the club that injured four people. The fight later spilled out to the parking lot. That's when police said a man with an AK-47 automatic rifle opened fire.

Police say several vehicles were hit by the bullets.

”Security saw another car leaving the scene, with a weapon, possibly firing back at the crowd. Security retued fire. Multiple cars were hit throughout the parking lot and across the street. I believe a total of five cars, said Capt. Cliff Johnson.

Police had shut down Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway at one point.  The road has since been open.

 

Police did arrest a man nearby but it is unclear if he is the shooter.
