Gun map blamed on local burglary
New York State Sen. Greg Ball is alleging that a highly controversial "gun map" published by a local newspaper has put homeowners' lives on the line — and now, he says, he has proof. The home of an elderly resident of White Plains, N.Y. — which was published on the gun map in the Joual News — was burglarized on Saturday. The man's guns were locked in his safe, which the burglars weren't able to open. "If the connection is proven, this is further proof that these maps ... present a clear and present danger to law-abiding, private citizens," said Senator Ball. [Source]
