A local man is accused of driving a golf cart up to a woman, groping her and driving off.

The usually idyllic paths of Peachtree City took a different tu Monday around noon. Police say a woman jogging was sexually assaulted by a man passing by in a golf cart.

"It might be a simple slap on the butt but unfortunately it is a crime," to Lt. Mart Brown of the Peachtree City Police Department

Sean McClenahan, 19, was arrested. Police say they don't know if there are other victims.

Authorities are asking path users to stay safe.

Peachtree City Police say the victim did all the right things by getting a good physical description of the suspect and the golf cart he was in.

"From the victim calling in and reporting this so quickly and getting all the information, we were able to grab him as quickly as possible as we did," Brown said.

McClenahan is now facing a charge of sexual battery. He is being held at Fayette County Jail awaiting his court appearance.
