Gas Station Workers Arrested In Gambling Raid
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. -- The owner of an Exxon gas station, along with an employee of the business, were both taken into custody on charges of illegal gambling.
Authorities said they served a search warrant at Hammond’s Crossing Exxon in the 3300 block of Keith Bridge Road in Forsyth County. Investigators with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Vice Unit said the business was operating gambling machines and paying out cash payments to players.
The owner, Nahidul Hassan Khan, and an employee of the business, Mohammed Zahangir Alam, were each charged with commercial gambling. Khan was also charged with operating a gambling place.
