FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County police are on the hunt for a man they say shot his wife several times after a fight on Halloween.

Police say Derick Donel McCants, 38, has been on the run since the shooting and may have fled to Alabama.

According to the Fulton County police spokeswoman Cpl. Patrena Smith, McCants got into an argument with his wife, identified as Clarinda McCants, shot her multiple times and then ran from the scene.

McCants is described as a black man, about 6’ tall, and weighs about 205 pounds. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fulton County Police Departments’s Criminal Investigation Division at 404-613-6600. Tipsters can also remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org.
