Fox pundit makes rape remark that should get her fired
Fox News contributor Liz Trotta, who once made an on-air joke about assassinating Barack Obama has again crossed a line. Reacting to a Pentagon report showing a 64 percent increase in sexual violence against women since 2006, Trotta said: "Well, what did they expect? These people are in close contact." After Fox News anchor Eric Shawn said "many would say that they need to be protected," Trotta snapped: "That's funny, I thought the mission of the 'armed forces' was to defend and protect us, not the people who were fighting the war."
