Stone Found in Frozen Organic Mixed Fruit (Strawberries) Sold at Costco

I was eating a bowl of Organic Mixed Fruit straight from the freezer when I bit down hard on a strawberry and unexpectedly hit what felt like a small stone. Thankfully, no injury—but it definitely caught me off guard.

The product is called Organic Mixed Fruit by Townsend Farms and sold at Costco.

I’m sharing this as a precaution for others who buy frozen mixed fruit, especially if you eat it frozen or semi-frozen. It might be rare, but it’s worth chewing carefully and keeping an eye out, particularly for kids.

If you’ve had a similar experience, it may be worth reporting it to the manufacturer (Townsend Farms) as well.
