COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — A 21-year-old Coweta County man has been charged with child sexual exploitation after deputies said they found explicit videos of minors on his cellphone.

Christopher Ryan Adams was arrested Jan. 13 during a traffic stop, according to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation began in the fall of 2025 after a tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children prompted law enforcement to look into alleged activity, authorities said.

Adams was booked into the Coweta County Jail the same day and charged with two counts of child sexual exploitation. He remains in custody without bond.

Deputies said they seized Adams’ phone and are reviewing its contents for additional evidence. They said they expect to file further charges as the investigation continues.

No additional details about how the traffic stop occurred were released, and the sheriff’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
