FOX 5 crew catches dramatic police chase on camera

ATLANTA, Ga. -

Sitting in traffic on Ralph Abeathy Blvd Monday, FOX 5 Photographer Lloyd Alford and reporter Tacoma Perry were almost hit by a passing vehicle.

Tus out, that vehicle, a black Toyota truck was stolen on Interstate 285 at Camp Creek.

The crew quickly found themselves in the middle of a police chase.

The driver of the vehicle crashed on Vanira and Fraser streets in southeast Atlanta, after cruisers with Atlanta police and Georgia Highway Patrol boxed it in. The occupants attempted to run.

Georgia state patrol officials say three people in all were involved: officers took two into custody, the other, fled on foot.
