Former school coach Joseph Amos Young charged with sexual assault
A grand jury has indicted a former Carroll County school coach after allegations of inappropriate contact with a student.
In August, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office was requested to investigate former Bowdon Middle School employee Joseph Amos Young.
On Nov. 18, the grand jury indicted Young on two counts of sexual assault by a teacher, coach, or other administrator.
to conduct an investigation involving allegations of inappropriate contact between a Joseph Amos Young and one or more of his students.
Young tued himself in to the Carroll County Jail on Nov. 24. He has been released on a $50,000 special conditions bond.
