Former President Jimmy Carter reveals he has liver cancer
Former President of the United States Jimmy Carter has announced that he has liver cancer.
The cancer was reportedly discovered after the 90-year-old was undergoing liver surgery recently.
Carter, who served as the 39th President of the United States from 1977 to 1981, said the cancer has spread to other parts of his body as well.
‘Recent liver surgery revealed that I have cancer that now is in other parts of my body,’ he said in a statement.

He is reportedly receiving treatment at the Emory Healthcare in Georgia.
More details are expected to be released by the former president next week.
