Former commissioner's chief of staff Bob Lundsten indicted for theft
Elaine Boyer and Bob Lundsten

The chief of staff for former DeKalb County commissioner Elaine Boyer has been indicted on six counts of theft by taking and three counts of making false statements to law enforcement.

Bob Lundsten is accused of using his county issued P-Card for personal purchases like a tow truck for his daughter, jewelry and grocery bills. The purchases came to light after an investigation by Channel 2 Action News and the Atlanta-Joual Constitution.

Lundsten has since reimbursed thousands of dollars worth of purchases.

Boyer was sentenced to 14 months in prison in March for her role in P-Card fraud. Boyer used her county-issued card for more than $15,000 of personal purchases.
