Football stars on the Grammy stage was a bad idea
Mixing NFL jocks with Grammys rock was a bad idea

The 50-yard line is the proven venue for a flashy, high-energy concert during the Super Bowl halftime show. But Grammy producers' idea to bring football players onto the stage of music's biggest night produced cringe-worthy results.

New York Giants stars Victor Cruz and Mario Manningham proved that point when they joined Pauley Perrette to announce the winner of Best Rock Album.

Cruz tried to liven things up with his salsa touchdown dance, but what looks so fluid in the glow of a touchdown looked stiff following Chris Brown's dazzlingly athletic performance.
