Floyd County police searching for murder suspect Stevie Lamar Garner

Floyd County Police Officers and Georgia State Patrol were called to the scene of a vehicle accident on Drummond Drive Saturday.

First responders discovered that the driver of the vehicle had been shot. 

The driver was removed from his vehicle and transported to Floyd Medical Center. 

The driver, Patrick Marcus Wall, a 21 year old Rome resident died from the gunshot wound.

Police have identified 27 year old Stevie Lamar Gaer as a suspect.

An arrest warrant for murder has been issued for Gaer and the Floyd County Police Department is now on the lookout for him.
