Father-son drug trafficking duo Larry and Jesse Thomas charged in wreck that killed couple
Gwinnett County authorities say they arrested a father and son accused of causing a double-fatal wreck following a police chase.
According to police report, Kryzysztof Krawczynski, 77, and Elzbieta Gurtler-Krawczynska, 78, of Norcross were killed when the Mercedes-Benz they were in was hit by a white Crown Victoria in Peachtree Coers late Thursday night.

A wreck after a police chase that began in Johns Creek.
A Johns Creek officer tried to pull the car over prior to the accident a few miles north of the crash site around 10:30 p.m., according to police.
They said the suspect vehicle traveled southbound on Peachtree Parkway and failed to yield for Johns Creek Police.
As the vehicle approached the intersection of Peachtree Parkway at Jay Bird Alley, it collided in the intersection with a second vehicle. Both the driver and passenger in the car died.
Police said they arrested Larry Thomas, 47, of Tennessee, and his 18-year-old son Jesse Thomas, also of Tennessee.
Police said Larry Thomas was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, DUI, fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane, failure to obey a traffic control device, crossing a gore, trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in morphine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of LSD, possession of gun during commission of a felony.

Gwinnett County police said they concluded their investigation and the rest would be handled by the Johns Creek Police Department.
