Father, 4-year-old son killed in DeKalb fire
A father and son were found dead in a car at a house fire in DeKalb County.
Emergency crews were called to the home on Wellbo Hills Place in Lithonia Tuesday night.
The DeKalb County fire chief confirmed two people were found dead at the home.
Channel 2's Eric Philips found out the two people killed were a father and his 4-year-old son. Philips said they were found inside a car in the garage of the home.
Investigators said they believe the fire started in one car and spread to another, and then to the house.
Crews on the scene said the home is destroyed.

Smoke from the fire in the 2300 block of Wellbo Hills Place rose over the neighborhood Tuesday evening.
Neighbor Tamika Linder said she noticed the fire just before 8 p.m. "When I finally realized what was going on, I heard the fire sirens in the area," she said.
Linder said a man and his wife live in the house, and the wife arrived on the scene as the house was buing.
"I was standing close to her when [the medical examiner] arrived," she said. "When she saw him, she lost it."
Friends and family have also arrived at the home.
So far, investigators have not released the identities of the father and son.
Crews retued to the home oveight to douse hotspots. Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire, but the fire chief described the fire as "odd."
