Former wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recovering nicely following heia surgery earlier this week.

"Surgery a success!" he tweeted after his doctor repaired three heial tears. "Superman is on the mend."

Johnson, 40, sustained the injury - a to abdomen and abductor muscles - a few weeks ago during a wrestling match against John Cena.

"Saw my Dr who had to push my intestines back thru the tear i my abdomen," he wrote on April 21. "Kinda romantic."

The procedure reportedly caused him to miss the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, "Pain & Gain."

"He was pushing it too hard," director Michael Bay told E!. "[He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men!"

Especially since he's got another big project on the horizon: The WWE star has been gearing up for his dream role, Hercules, in the new film "Hercules: The Thracian Wars."

"I feel I was bo to play Hercules," he recently said. "I'm very excited."
