Dutchtown students mourn teen Jasmine Poole killed in Henry crash
Grief counselors will be on-site at Dutchtown High School on Thursday moing after an after school car wreck claimed the life of a sophomore at the school.
According to authorities, Jasmine Poole, the teenage girl who died at the scene of the accident was ”very well liked by her classmates. She was even a member of the school’s cheerleading squad.
Poole along with two other students was involved in a collision at the intersection of Pates Creek Road and Noah’s Ark Road just after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afteoon.

Police say Jasmine Poole, 16, died in a crash in Henry County on May 7, 2014.
Witnesses say the students veered off the road, ran into a ditch and overtued. All of the passengers were ejected from the car. Authorities are not sure what caused the accident but they suspect reckless driving and speeding were involved.
The surviving two victims were airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital where they remain in critical condition.

Henry County police said the single-car crash happened near 1400 Pates Creek Road, near Noah's Arc Road in Stockbridge.
No word on funeral arrangements for Jasmine Poole, at this time.
School officials tell FOX 5 "The students of Dutchtown High School are organizing a vigil for tonight at 8pm at the Dutchtown High School football stadium."
