Dunwoody woman escapes attack by armed men during home invasion
DUNWOODY, GA - Dunwoody Police are searching for two men who were caught on surveillance video brutally attacking the home owner during a home invasion.
According to authorities, the attack happened on November 9th at the Dunwoody Glen Apartments on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard after she retued home from walking her child to the bus stop.
The men—armed with a gun, a knife and a metal pipe— punched her in the face, struck her in the head with a handgun, and tackled her all while demanding money from her, police said.
The victim fought off her attackers and was able to escape.
Suspect 1 is described as a male, between the ages of 17 and 25, about 6’ tall. He has a thin build and was last seen wearing sweat pants with a star patte below the knee, a long-sleeve sweat shirt, grey mask, gloves and boots.
Suspect 2 is described as a light-skin male, ranging ages of 17 and 25 and between 5’03and 5’08 tall. He weighs 150 and 170 pounds and has a low-cut beard or goatee. He was last seen wearing a black and grey sweater, khaki pants and gloves.
