Drunk Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett arrested at Minneapolis airport after refusing to cooperate with police
Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett has been charged with a misdemeanor following his arrest at Minneapolis-St. Paul Inteational Airport for allegedly refusing to cooperate with police.
Authorities say the 59-year-old network anchor was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Northe Lights Grill in the main terminal. Airport spokesman Patrick Hogan says officers reported Jarrett seemed intoxicated, acted belligerently and refused to follow orders.
He was booked into the Hennepin County Jail and charged Wednesday with one count of obstructing the legal process/interfering with a peace officer. The jail's website shows he posted $300 bond and was released early Thursday.
Court records don't list a defense attoey.
Fox News issued a statement saying Jarrett is "dealing with serious personal issues" and it's undetermined when he'll retu to air.
