The Hall County Sheriff's office said a seven-year veteran on the force has been terminated following an inteal investigation of an "inappropriate relationship with a female on house arrest."
Deputy Corey Alexander was terminated Sunday after investigators found enough evidence about the relationship.
A Sheriff's Office spokesperson said that Alexander worked under the jail division for Hall County, specifically with the work-release program.
That's where investigators said he encountered a woman and began the relationship in question.
The ongoing investigation will determine if Alexander will face any charges.
