ELBERT COUNTY, Ga. — A 25-year-old woman from Tucker has died after an industrial accident in northeast Georgia, authorities said.

The Elbert County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Maria Manuela Molina Chavez. The accident occurred about 12:51 p.m. Monday at a business along Bowman Highway in Elberton, the coroner’s office said Tuesday. Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency responders from multiple agencies were called to the scene, but officials have not yet released details about how the accident happened. The incident remains under investigation.

Officials extended condolences to Chavez’s family and friends.
