DeKalb School Board May Respond to SACS

Tuesday, the DeKalb County Board of Education could reveal its response to questions raised by a national school group.

The school board plans to meet Tuesday afteoon to draft a response to the Southe Association of Colleges and Schools.

The SACS investigation stems from the indictment of the district's former superintendent, COO and two others involved in an alleged misuse of school construction dollars.

The district says it plans to amend its code of ethics policy in the wake of the investigation.
