A Decatur father faces charges of DUI and child endangerment after police say he crashed his SUV into a tree.
Officers say 31-year-old Keon Patterson had an open bottle of vodka and his 10-year-old child in the car during Friday's accident.
Patterson told officers he swerved to avoid a vehicle in his lane and lost control, but investigators say he smelled like alcohol
There were no reports of any injuries.
