Couple paints home like house in Up - neighbors hate it
Everyone loves the movie UP, right? Not the residents of a street in Califoia who have taken umbrage over one neighbour's decision to renovate their home to resemble the house in the Pixar animation.
Harrison Street – where the property is located – is the oldest in Santa Clara, and lined with Victorian-style houses, some more than 100 years old.
Many homeowners there take pride in preserving the original look and style. Imagine their anguish therefore at Hosam Haggog and Fatima Rahman, who spent more than two years renovating theirs to look like the colourful house from a 2009 kids film.

Seriously though, what's not to like? It's bright:

Maybe they ran out of paint (Picture: NBC Bay Area News)
Someone who certainly doesn't agree is neighbor Lou Faria, who told NBC Bay Area News: ‘I don't think it fits in'.
‘It really, in my opinion, is atrocious that this Victorian is a gracious old lady and it's being painted up to look like a clown,' he added.
Right…
