Clayton County police, the Secret Service and the state revenue department are investigating what was going on inside a Jonesboro mansion, targeted by burglars on Wednesday.

Intruders stormed the home just after midnight but hours later police found evidence of several other white collar crimes.

Marcusly Lively, 43, and 46-year-old Ednecdia Johnson, the occupants of the home on Betony Wood Trail, face a long list of charges which include credit card fraud.

Officers were called to the home on Betony Wood Trail and when they arrived they were told two men had burst through the door of the house. Police say when the two suspects got inside the house, one of them struggled over a gun with the renter who lived there. As a result, the renter was shot in the hand and the suspect was shot in the head. The second suspect left the scene and remains on the loose.

According to authorities, Lively, who was shot in the struggle, rented the house with Johnson. Investigators now believe Andre Shiver, 18, and another suspect involved in the home invasion may have known Lively and Johnson, and may have known about an alleged scheme being run out of the house.

Police say it appears that Lively and Johnson were involved in an elaborate credit card scheme. Inside the home, authorities found several credit card processing work stations, safes, expensive jewelry, several luxury cars and about $200,000 in cash.

Johnson faces charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Criminal Possession of Financial Transaction Card Forgery Devices, Forgery 2nd Degree, and makeing False Statements. She has a court appearance set for 1:30 p.m.

Lively faces the same charges as Johnson, less the firearm charge.

Shiver, one of the two men who allegedly broke into the home and recovering in the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head, is expected to be charged with burglary and aggravated battery.
