Police are investigating after a man and woman were found dead near a Clayton County freight warehouse.

Clayton County police tell WSB-TV that an employee of Towne Air Freight found the bodies after hearing noise outside.

Clayton County police Capt. Richard Godfrey tells the television station police were called around 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The caller said screaming was heard, followed by gunshots.

Godfrey says both victims were shot but only one gun was recovered. Police identified the two victims as Cedric Ryce and Shenika Freeman, both in their 20s. The two were believed to be the only ones involved.

The circumstances of the shooting were still under investigation.
