Community comes together to save girl's 5th birthday party
The community of Spring Hill, Tenn., came together Saturday to provide a 5-year-old with a birthday party she'll never forget.
Taliyah asked her mom, Lauren Sassmannshausen, where everyone was when her party was looking sparse, to which her mother had to improvise.
She took to Facebook to vent her frustrations and invited her community to save her daughter's party, and it worked.

"NEVER in my life would I have though we would have so many people care about a child they didn't know. I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart and I want to express my gratitude to you all for coming out and making my baby girls birthday so very special," the mother posted on Facebook.
As it tus out, not everyone is too impressed or thrilled by the mother's efforts.
She has been criticized and took to Facebook again to vent her frustrations.
"All I wanted was for my daughter to feel loved and cared for from friends and family. I didn't call the news, I didn't make a big deal about it, I didn't do anything other than what I felt needed to be done. & that was trying to come up with a solution so my daughter wouldn't feel let down," she said.
