Cobb County Teen Daniel Perez dies after shooting, crash
Marietta Police responding to a crash in a parking lot discovered that the driver, a hispanic male had a gunshot wound. Police said 18-year-old Daniel Perez was slumped over behind the wheel. He was taken to Kennestone Hospital, where he died sometime before 10:30 a.m. Thursday, police said.
Police are still looking for the gunman and a motive. Witnesses only told police they saw a man running through the parking lot. Anyone with information is asked to call Marietta police at 770-794-5324.
