Cobb County man Justin Todd Keene killed in Cobb County wreck

A Cobb County man died Friday afteoon when he ran off the road and hit a tree near Powder Springs, according to police.

Justin Todd Keene, 22, was driving a silver 2002 Mercury Cougar northbound on Hopkins Road, off Macland Road, just after noon when police believe he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the road, Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb police said.

Keenes car crossed the center line and left the west side of Hopkins Road, striking a tree, Pierce said. Keene, of Powder Springs, died at the scene.
