Chipper Jones Yankees: GM Cashman wants legendary Brave to play third base
Former Brave Chipper Jones was in Atlanta last week - with his girlfriend Taylor Higgins - to accept an Atlanta Sports Award.

Could Braves legend Chipper Jones be persuaded to come out of retirement and join the Evil Empire?

No, but it plays in New York, so the heck with it.

According to New York Post baseball columnist Joel Sherman, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said today that he wants to sign Jones to play first base, third base and DH. Actually, what Cashman said, according to Sherman, is that reporters should tweet that Chipper should call the Yankees if he's interested because Cashman didn't have the number for Chipper's agent.
