ATLANTA - Police are searching for whoever shot a Cherokee County real estate developer to death inside an abandoned northwest Atlanta home.

Atlanta police found the body of David Abbasi, 32, inside 1045 Longley Avenue Friday afteoon after they responded to a shots fired call.  They said Abbasi died from two gunshot wounds.

Detectives are still investigating the homicide but did say they believe Abbasi was at the house because he was interested in buying it.
