Cher: Believe me, Tom Cruise was one of my Top lovers
Top lover ... Cher said her fling with Tom Cruise was 'pretty hot'

SUPERSTAR Cher has rated Tom Cruise one of her top five lovers.

The 67-year-old singer dated the Hollywood idol briefly in the mid-1980s.

She told a US interviewer that the three-times wed Top Gun actor, 50, was a “great guy”.

Cher said she knew Cruise before he became involved with the Church of Scientology.

She said of their relationship: “It was pretty hot and heavy for a little minute. He’s a great guy.

“The person that I knew was a great and lovable guy.”

Asked where he ranked in her long list of lovers, the Believe star replied: “He was in the top five! I just had the greatest lovers ever.”

Divorced Cher’s former lovers also include heart-throb Batman actor Val Kilmer, 53, and Kiss singer-songwriter Gene Simmons, 63.
