Brown facing jail time over 'hit and run'
Chris Brown could face jail for probation violation after 'refusing to give ID after accident'

CHRIS Brown could be facing jail time for a probation violation after refusing to give ID after a car accident.

Los Angeles police are investigating after Brown rear-ended a woman's car, then refused to give his driver's license number, TMZ reports.

The singer also reportedly gave the drive the wrong insurance details and had an attitude when she insisted on getting his ID.

Brown is still on probation for assaulting singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, and if he left the scene of the accident without giving his ID and insurance details, he could have violated his probation and be facing up to four years in prison, TMZ reports.
