Body of Fallen Griffin Marine Christopher Rodgers Arrives Home
The body of a fallen Marine is back in Georgia.
Lance Corporal Christopher Rodgers died last week while serving our country in Afghanistan.
Tuesday, a motorcade escorted his body from Hartsfield-Jackson Inteational Airport to his hometown of Griffin.
Rodgers -- 20-years old -- died Wednesday while conducting combat operations in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan.
Rodgers was a graduate of Spalding High School and was a member of the school's junior ROTC for four years.
Rodgers was based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina
