BLACK Eyed Peas singer Fergie is officially changing her name
The US star, 38, was bo Stacy Ann Ferguson but has filed legal papers asking to be called Fergie Duhamel more than four years after she married Transformers actor Josh Duhamel, 40.
Her lawyer says it will “conform to the first name which she is commonly and professionally known as, and has been for many years”.
To formalise the change, she must publish a notice in a local newspaper for four weeks.
The couple are expecting their first baby and Duhamel — currently filming the drama Strings in Canada — has said they are organising work to put family first.
