BIG Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco is engaged after a whirlwind three month romance.

Cuoco has put an end to rumors that started circulating earlier this week after she stepped out sporting a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger.

Her rep has confirmed she is to wed her tennis player beau Ryan Sweeting.

“It’s only been three months but she knows Ryan is the one. When you know, you know.

“[She’s] never felt this way. She knows this is it. And the ring is gorgeous!” a friend close to the star told Us magazine.

The pair only recently made their first public appearance together, stepping out as a couple on the red carpet at Sunday night’s Emmy Awards.

It has been reported that Ryan got down on one knee and popped the question yesterday, with the blonde star quickly taking to her Twitter account to express her joy.

“Flying high, I could literally touch the sky with you (sic)” she tweeted to her 1.6 million followers.

Kaley and tennis star Ryan began dating earlier this summer and were spotted together at a horse ranch in Moorpark, Califoia, at the beginning of August.

The 27-year-old actress is currently filming new movie The Wedding Ringer, in which she plays a bride whose husband hires a stranger to pose as his best man.

Before Kaley met Ryan, she enjoyed a very brief romance with Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill.
