BIEBER ARRESTED: 'Drag racing' in rented Lamborghini
POLICE say pop singer Justin Bieber has been arrested after drag racing on a Miami Beach street in a yellow Lamborghini and failing a sobriety test.
Miami Dade-Police spokesman Sgt. Bobby Heandez told WSVN-TV Florida that officers saw two cars racing at 4.09am local time Thursday.
Sgt Heandez said two vehicles apparently had been used to block off an area to race. He says the second car was a red Ferrari, and that driver was also arrested. Both cars were towed.
Sgt Heandez said 19-year-old Bieber failed a field sobriety test and was taken to the Miami Beach police station for a Breathalyser test and processing. Bieber will be transported soon to the Miami-Dade County jail.
Officials at the Miami-Dade Department of Corrections say Bieber has not yet been booked into jail.

"He was pulled over and failed a field sobriety test," Sgt. Heandez told the Sun-Sentinel newspaper.
"He was then taken to the police station to be offered a breathalyser."
The arrest follows reports that Bieber dropped $75,000 in just a few hours in a Miami strip club.
The superstar headed to strip club King of Diamonds on Monday night, which was celebrating Martin Luther King Day and rapper Lil Scrappy's 30th birthday.
A rep for the club told TMZ that Justin, "got $75k in 1 dollar bills and went wild."
The club, located in Miami Gardens, throws a series of wild themed nights including "Rodeo Wednesdays" and "Monday Night Fight Night".
Bieber had earlier jetted into Miami from a ski trip in Colorado, and was earlier seen dropping into hot Miami Beach club Mansion.
It's been a dramatic year already for Bieber - police searched his Los Angeles pad last week and reportedly found a trove of drugs, but couldn't arrest him.
Cops were searching his home over an alleged egging of a neighbour's house, but couldn't touch the drugs - which allegedly included two cookie jars filled with marijuana - because that would have been beyond the scope of their investigation.
