IT APPEARS that married life has again become a little too complicated for Avril Lavigne with reports she is set to divorce husband, Chad Kroeger.

A source told Us Weekly that the 14-month marriage is in bad shape and that it is only a matter of time before the divorce papers are signed.

“It’s over,’ a source told Us Weekly. “He has been going around LA and telling people that they’re divorcing.”

Late last month, Lavigne, 29, was seen leaving Chateau Marmont with a bunch of friends but was not wearing her wedding ring.

The pair have reportedly stopped following each other on social media as well.

Lavigne had gushed over a 17-carat diamond ring her 39-year-old beau bought her for their anniversary in July but has since deleted the tweet.

“Chad is just a complete jerk in the way he talks to her, and the way he talks to people in general,” a Lavigne source told Us Weekly. “A lot of her friends don’t like him.”

Another source said there was “no concrete timeline for divorce right now.”

The Canadians met while they recorded a duet entitled Let Me Go.

After being engaged for less than a year they tied the knot in France.

It is the second marriage for Lavigne, who was wed to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley for four years until they divorced in 2010. She also had a two-year relationship with Brody Jenner.
